It may not be saying much considering their depressingly stagnant form, but 20 year old Raheem Sterling has been Liverpools best player so far this term. Having broken into the Reds starting line-up two years ago, the youngster has consistently gone from strength to strength and has now established himself as one of Englands finest prospects. At the moment, he is currently negotiating a lucrative new deal with the clubs hierarchy, and considering his current wage status, its no wonder. While his performances have shown him to be one of the clubs most prominent stars over the last 18 months, his salary has not reflected this as he picks up a relative pittance of £30k p/wk. With a host of top clubs circling for his signature and the Reds desperate to hold onto their prized asset, expect that wage to drastically change very soon.
