15 Most Shockingly Underpaid Footballers

4. Raheem Sterling

Wage: £30,000

It may not be saying much considering their depressingly stagnant form, but 20 year old Raheem Sterling has been Liverpool€™s best player so far this term. Having broken into the Reds€™ starting line-up two years ago, the youngster has consistently gone from strength to strength and has now established himself as one of England€™s finest prospects. At the moment, he is currently negotiating a lucrative new deal with the club€™s hierarchy, and considering his current wage status, it€™s no wonder. While his performances have shown him to be one of the club€™s most prominent stars over the last 18 months, his salary has not reflected this as he picks up a relative pittance of £30k p/wk. With a host of top clubs circling for his signature and the Reds desperate to hold onto their prized asset, expect that wage to drastically change very soon.
