Currently the most coveted player at the Stadio del Alpi but simultaneously the 15th best paid player at the club, Paul Pogba is something of an anomaly. Perhaps its not surprising that his wage packet of £23k p/wk is so modest considering he arrived at Juventus in 2011 as a 19 year old midfielder on the back of a couple of years warming the bench at Old Trafford - he was certainly in no position to bargain for a slice of gold. 108 appearances, two Serie A titles and a World Cup Golden Boy Award later, the 21 year old Frenchman has established himself as one of the continents finest young midfielders and has even been linked with the likes of Real Madrid in recent months. With Carlos Tevez taking home £4.3 million each year from the club compared to his French team-mates £1.1 million collection, there must be quite an awkward disquiet in the air on pay-day.
