15 Most Shockingly Underpaid Footballers

1. Paul Pogba

Wage: £23,000

Currently the most coveted player at the Stadio del Alpi but simultaneously the 15th best paid player at the club, Paul Pogba is something of an anomaly. Perhaps it€™s not surprising that his wage packet of £23k p/wk is so modest considering he arrived at Juventus in 2011 as a 19 year old midfielder on the back of a couple of years warming the bench at Old Trafford - he was certainly in no position to bargain for a slice of gold. 108 appearances, two Serie A titles and a World Cup Golden Boy Award later, the 21 year old Frenchman has established himself as one of the continent€™s finest young midfielders and has even been linked with the likes of Real Madrid in recent months. With Carlos Tevez taking home £4.3 million each year from the club compared to his French team-mate€™s £1.1 million collection, there must be quite an awkward disquiet in the air on pay-day. So that's a wrap - what do you think? As always, feel free to leave your thoughts and opinions in the comment section below.
