15 UEFA Champions League Finalists Who Played For Newcastle
8. Louis Saha (2008) - Manchester United 1-1 Chelsea A.E.T. (Red Devils Won 6-5 On Penalties)
Louis Saha contributed just one goal in 11 appearances during his loan spell on Tyneside in 1999 before the Frenchman headed back to Metz with his tail between his legs. However, Saha would return to English football with a vengeance - and he even lifted the Champions League with Manchester United in 2008. Although he was injured and wasn't included in the matchday squad, Saha had played five times for the Red Devils in Europe that season and claimed a medal after Man United's victory on penalties. Cristiano Ronaldo had put the Red Devils ahead in Moscow before Frank Lampard equalised, only for Man United to win 6-5 on penalties.
