15 UEFA Champions League Finalists Who Played For Newcastle

7. Geremi (2002) - Bayer Leverkusen 1-2 Real Madrid

Geremi really is a serial winner of the Champions League, even though he didn't actually play a minute in either of the two finals. In 2002, Geremi wasn't even in Real Madrid's matchday squad for the final with Bayer Leverkusen despite having appeared six times in the earlier rounds of the tournament. Raúl put Real ahead on the night before Lucio equalised. Real were not to be denied their ninth European Cup, however, and Zinedine Zidane scored a memorable winning volley at Hampden Park in Glasgow to secure the trophy.
