Pictured above with one of England's most important and inspiring historical figures shaking the hand of some bloke in a hat, Newcastle's home kit stayed largely unchanged for over 25 years. Featuring a long button down opening that was a common sight on garments of almost all occasions at the time, the club's first crest was proudly stitched into the fabric. It's also the club's most successful home shirt, seeing Newcastle lift the FA Cup no less than four times while wearing it. Probably weighing a tonne dry and twice as much wet, the kit is nonetheless one of the most important any player of the club has ever worn. It also came in both long and short sleeve versions, you just had to roll them up or down.
