25 Worst Premier League Signings Ever
19. Kleberson

After a storming 2002 World Cup where he was described as the driving force behind Brazil's tournament win by head coach Luiz Phillipe Scolari, Jose Kleberson seemed to have secured his dream move to Old Trafford in 2003. Bought as a replacement for the outgoing Juan Sebastian Veron, Alex Ferguson believed he had made the signing of the season when the twenty four year old agreed terms for the Manchester club.
Despite the high regard, Kleberson never fulfilled the potential his club and country manager held for him; his performances in a United shirt were less than exemplary of a driving force and the player regarded as Old Trafford's new midfield general limped towards twenty league appearences before leaving two years later.
Regarded as one of Ferguson's worst signings as Manchester United manager, this was just a huge disappointment all round.
