3 Premier League Clubs Interested In West Brom's Salomon Rondon
The Baggies want £16m for the 10-goal striker.
The Sun are reporting that West Brom striker Salomón Rondón is being head-hunted by Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham Utd. All three Premier League clubs have logged their interest in making the big Venezuelan a surprise summer capture.
Baggies boss Darren Moore will want to keep the bulk of his relegated squad intact to launch a full-scale assault on the Championship next season. For that very reason, the club have apparently slapped a £16 million price tag on the forward.
Rondón netted 10 goals (seven in the league) last season, and his physical presence up front has caught the eye of Antonio Conte, Mauricio Pochettino and Manuel Pellegrini. All three clubs could be doing with more attacking options, especially Chelsea and Spurs.
Moore will have been unhappy to learn that the player had a relegation clause in his contract allowing him to leave if other teams offered enough money. £16m, a reasonable fee in today's inflated market, would be enough then to take him away from The Hawthorns this summer.
