2. John Moraga Eats A Punch While Jawing With Ref

It looked bad, but you need to understand that when a ref says to fight, these guys are supposed to fight. John Moraga apparently missed the memo. During his match with Willie Gates, Moraga was hit with a low blow that went unnoticed by the ref. Moraga turned to the ref to complain, who said "I didn't see it, keep fight." Instead of doing that, Moraga continued to jaw at the ref, complaining about the low blow. Gates, who also was present for the "keep fighting" comment since the action was never stopped and the two never separated, did exactly that, and punched Moraga in the head. It looked like a sucker punch simply because Moraga was paying no attention to his opponent and instead talking to the ref, but it was perfectly legal. Moraga should have been defending himself. After the fight, Moraga claimed he never heard the ref, but it was perfectly audible on replays.
