5 Fights To Make After UFC Dublin

5. Norman Parke vs Diego Sanchez

Northern Ireland's Norman Parke made easy work of Naoyuki Kotani, finishing the Japanese fighter by TKO in the second round. Post fight, Parke revealed he had bet on himself to win the fight, showing the confidence of Stormin' Norman. Another thing that Parke made loud and clear after the fight was his preferred next opponent, calling out Diego Sanchez. Parke revealed he was still angered by Sanchez's belief that he had won the fight against Ross Pearson at Fight Night 42. Parke went as far as to call Sanchez a 'punk.' But is this the kind of fight the UFC would be likely to make? Despite being undefeated in the UFC, Parke is still an unranked Lightweight fighter, something he is eager to change. Unfortunately, Sanchez isn't fooling anyone with his last few outings in the UFC, and the world unites in their belief that Pearson won their fight. One stepping stone for this fight could be the fact that the UFC may want to match up Pearson and Sanchez in a rematch. Although many would argue whether or not this is necessary, as many people have decided to disregard the fright's official result. The UFC Mexico card has been thrown about the past few days, and these two have a similar styles. They both enjoy a good scrap. A fight with an unranked for Sanchez could prove costly, although he is a great draw for the company, a loss to Parke could spell the end of his current run.
