2. Adam Scott
Finally, the Australian looks set to fulfil his potential and become a Major winner. A perennial member of the Worlds top ten, an eight time winner on the PGA tour, including the Wolrd Golf Championship, Scott has four top ten finishes in his last eight Major appearances, including second places in Masters in 2011 and the Open in 2012. Four bogeys in that Open championship allowed Ernie Els to win the tournament by one stroke, and Scott says he has learned from that. He could point to Rory McIlroys recovery from throwing away the 2011 Masters and going on to win the US Open as an indication that victory can follow a defeat. Scott has the length off the tee and has no obvious flaw to his game, apart from the mental aspect of having never won a major before. However, it is surely only a matter of time before Scott wins one of the big four.
