Victor Moses's fantastic form this season will leave England fans scratching their heads as to why he was never called up to the national squad, especially considering the fact that he played for the England Under-16s, 17s, 19s, and 21s.

Victor's parents were tragically killed in Nigeria when he was at the tender age of eleven. Thankfully, he managed to gain acceptance into the UK as an asylum seeker. He skyrocketed his way through the ranks of the Crystal Palace academy, making his full debut for the club when he was just sixteen. In Football Manager terms, he was a wonder kid.

In 2012 he earned a move to Chelsea, which was the same year in which he made his debut for Nigeria. At the time, Moses was not turning many heads with his form, so his loss to another nation did not seem like much of a blow.

However, it appears that the tricky winger is coming of age this season, having earned a starting spot for Chelsea under manager Anotino Conte. The Nigerian has also become a key figure for the Super Eagles, winning the 2013 African Cup of Nations. Moses's decision to represent his birth nation is justified, as Nigeria have technically been more successful than England.
