A game of two halves, Newcastle looked dead and buried at the interval after a tame 45 minutes against The Gunners saw the home side two goals behind with seemingly nowhere to turn for goals yesterday afternoon. A spirited display though in the second half saw the Toon strike early with a great team goal that John Carver called "Arsenal-esque" and a dominant, relentless attacking Newcastle display urged on by a vocal home support almost saw the Magpies register an unlikely point from the claws of defeat.
