5 Liverpool Youngsters You Can Expect To See In First Team Very Soon

1. Suso

It's been a while since Liverpool fans got excited about a promising Spanish attacking star, but in Jesus Joaquin Suso Fernandez Saez de La Torre or Suso as he's best known, that could all be about to change. Signed in 2010 by then manager Rafa Benitez who convinced him to reject offers from Barcelona and Real Madrid he bypassed the academy and went straight into Liverpool's reserve team. Suso quickly showed how comfortable on the ball and technically gifted he is. Comparisons have already been made to David Silva and Andres Iniesta due to his composure and ability to keep hold of the ball. The youngster stood out as a star performer for Spain during this summer's under-19 European Championships and he brought that confidence into Liverpool's pre-season with an assured second half display against Toronto. With Brendan Rodgers trying to deploy a passing 'total football' style at Liverpool, expect to see plenty of this young Spaniard in a midfield three over the coming seasons.
