5 More Premier League Bosses Who Could Face Axe

4. Alan Pardew

This afternoon's 2-0 defeat to relegation-haunted Southampton was one of the poorest results under Alan Pardew's Newcastle all season. They are without a win this month; the last time they took all three points was on the 28th October against West Brom. Since then they have been beaten by the likes of West Ham and Swansea, teams you'd really be expecting a team who placed fifth last term to be beating. After narrowly missing out on a place in the Champions League last season, by contrast, Newcastle are heading in the opposite direction this time out, and are only four points off the relegation zone. A damaging 3-0 home defeat to Manchester United in October seems to have been the tipping point for Pardew's men; since then, his side have taken only five points from a possible eighteen. Alan Pardew will have to find a way to put the brakes on this slump if he is to stay in a job.
