5 Predictions For UFC Fight Night: Bisping Vs. Silva

4. Francisco Rivera vs. Brad Pickett

Weight Class: Bantamweight Local favourite Brad "One Punch" Pickett (24-11) desperately needs a win at UFC Fight Night 84. When Pickett came into the UFC when it absorbed the WEC, he was expected to make some noise - and he did, scoring a knockout of the night and several fight of the night awards. What he didn't find, however, was consistency. A drop down to flyweight from the bantamweight division didn't rejuvenate his career as hoped, and he is now 0-3 in his last three fights. He's facing a cut from the promotion with another loss - and has a tough fight booked with Francisco Rivera (11-5 (1)). Rivera lost last time out against John Lineker, but Lineker is a tough fight for anyone, and prior to that, Rivera defeated Alex "Bruce Leeroy" Caceres after a tough loss to star Urijah Faber where Rivera was holding his own early. Will Pickett rise to the occasion in front of his hometown crowd? One mitigating factor may be that Rivera took the fight on short notice. With that in mind, we can see Pickett taking a decision.
