Weight Class: Bantamweight Local favourite Brad "One Punch" Pickett (24-11) desperately needs a win at UFC Fight Night 84. When Pickett came into the UFC when it absorbed the WEC, he was expected to make some noise - and he did, scoring a knockout of the night and several fight of the night awards. What he didn't find, however, was consistency. A drop down to flyweight from the bantamweight division didn't rejuvenate his career as hoped, and he is now 0-3 in his last three fights. He's facing a cut from the promotion with another loss - and has a tough fight booked with Francisco Rivera (11-5 (1)). Rivera lost last time out against John Lineker, but Lineker is a tough fight for anyone, and prior to that, Rivera defeated Alex "Bruce Leeroy" Caceres after a tough loss to star Urijah Faber where Rivera was holding his own early.
