Premier League: 5 Managers Who'll Be Gone By Christmas

5. David Moyes

The new Manchester United manager has hardly hit the ground running since replacing Sir Alex Ferguson in July. The former Everton boss endured a miserable pre-season that took in just two victories out of seven, and subsequently went on to oversee something of a disastrous transfer window that saw the arrival of just two new recruits. Moyes was guilty of wasting time in the summer market on what has since perceived to have been unobtainable targets such as Cesc Fabregas and Thiago Alcantara, while his inability to land the likes of Leighton Baines also stung. You have to wonder, with United lying in seventh place in the Premier League, whether Moyes' position at the club might be under threat should the champions be some way off challenging for the title by Christmas. And if that is the case, Moyes may find that the patience afforded to his predecessor may not carry forward.
