5 Reasons Leeds United Should Be A Premier League Club

5. Former Stars

The list of former players that have turned out for the Yorkshire outfit is simply staggering. Many current Premier League players have previously played for the Whites including Luciano Becchio, Robert Snodgrass, Rio Ferdinand, James Milner and Aaron Lennon. That's only the tip of the iceberg. Manchester United legend Eric Cantona joined the club from Leeds, former-Real Madrid defender Jonathan Woodgate also played at Elland Road and so did England's former-number one Paul Robinson. Tony Yeboah, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Lee Bowyer. The list goes on. It's also impossible to miss out Gary Speed, who is adored by the club and rightly so. Robbie Fowler also used to play for the Yorkshire outfit. I could honestly go on all day. You get the idea. Leeds United make great players and it's easy to see. Some of the players mentioned above may not have reached the heights that they did if it wasn't for this club.
