5 Reasons Leeds United Should Be A Premier League Club

4. Stadium

With Elland Road, Leeds have a fantastic stadium. A near 40,000 seater stadium deserves to be used for Premier League football. It's the twelfth biggest football stadium in England and the second biggest outside the top flight, yet it sees Championship football and not the big games it deserves. The stadium has been used for England fixtures and was also used as one of the host stadiums during Euro 96. It's been the home of Leeds United for almost a century and it's pretty impressive. When you compare it to some of the stadiums that some current Premier League clubs have it puts them to shame. If Leeds United were in the Premier League the stands would be near full capacity on a weekly basis. It's loud, the club are proud of the stadium and despite it's age it's still standing strong and looking impressive thanks to many renovations. Elland Road should be hosting Premier League football.
