Don't let France's mediocre few years fool you, Blanc is a very capable manager and he is showing just how good he is at the control of PSG. You may think it's easy to manage a team with such a big budget and crop of fantastic players but just ask Mark Hughes just how difficult it actually is, as it comes with a lot of pressure and you are given far less time to make an impact. During his two years in control of the national side he turned the fortunes around for France, overcoming the problems that he had been left to deal with after a horrific World Cup in South Africa and putting France back into where they should be in world football as they managed friendly victories against England, Brazil and Germany. Euro 2012 wasn't great but how do you topple the mighty Spain at their best? Prior to his international role, Blanc had a successful tenure in control of Bordeaux where he won Ligue 1 and was nominated for coach of the year in both seasons at the club. He's now transferring his success to the capital, already winning the French Cup and looking on course for the league title this year. He has steered the club well on the European stage this year and has knowledge of the Premier League as well as La Liga, after stints at both Manchester United and Barcelona. These experiences will have a big impact on the success of PSG in Europe this season, as well as in the future.
