5 Reasons Why PSG Can Win The Champions League

3. Underdogs

Compared to the rest of the eight teams left in the competition, Paris Saint Germain are the side least favoured for success. Even David Moyes' Manchester United are better tipped for European glory than the French outfit this season. The simply fact for this is that no-one knows enough about them. This can play in PSG's favour though, as they will be underestimated during the campaign. Last year nobody tipped Borussia Dortmund to reach the final but they did, knocking out European giants Real Madrid along the way. In similar fashion, PSG can surprise everyone this year by doing the same. When you're favourites to emerged victorious it adds a lot of pressure to your team, which transfers into frustration if things aren't going your way on the field. Not being fancied to emerge as champions means that PSG can afford to fall behind and fight their way back into the match, without worrying about the response they will receive from their fans and the European media. When you look at the side PSG have assembled and the money that they have spent, it seems daft to deem the French outfit as underdogs but they are yet to prove themselves on the European stage. This year is their chance to do exactly that and shock everyone.
