With Mathieu Debuchy back to full fitness and starting today's game, you'd be forgiven for thinking the right-back position is his to lose. Today's game showed us exactly the opposite, however, with both Debuchy and Bellerin playing a part, and the latter looking the much better player.

Debuchy had a quiet game before being replaced by Hector Bellerin, whose offensive work was nothing short of brilliant. The former Barcelona youth graduate grabbed himself an assist with a measured cross to Chuba Akpom after only being on the pitch for six minutes.

England defender Calum Chambers is also waiting for his chance, and there is no clear indication as to who will nail down the right-back position for the start of the new Premier League campaign.
