2. Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)

Ronaldo If a player who is not technically a striker has scored more goals than he has made appearances, than that player is not only special but virtually unplayable. That adjective adequately describes the quality of Cristiano Ronaldo. Though many fans will continue despise him, he will just dance around defences and score at every opportunity. In Real Madrid's title winning season, Ronaldo provided 60 goals in all competitions, and was able to win the award for the best La Liga player of the season. He became the second-quickest player to score 100 goals in La Liga, and he became the first player in European history to score 40 goals in two seasons. His loyalty to Real Madrid has been questioned, with supposed links back to Man Utd a possibility in the future, but for now he continues to score goals as if he is playing a video game on the easiest possible setting. His performances for Portugal at Euro 2012 are also worth noting, as his performances against the Netherlands and the Czech Republic brought excellent reviews, and he was joint top scorer in the competition as he almost single-handedly led the team to the semi-finals.
