6 Predictions For UFC Fight Night: Dillashaw Vs. Cruz

6. Tim Boetsch Vs. Ed Herman

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzK-c3gBOrc Weight Class: Light Heavyweight Tim Boetsch (18-9) has had a rough go of it in the UFC of late. The bruising former middleweight from Maine is just 2-5 in his last seven fights, and is coming off a punishing knockout loss to Dan Henderson, a man more than a decade older then him (the oldest fighter on the UFC roster in fact). Having lost to Thales Leites prior to the Henderson fight, Boetsch could be looking at a cut if he loses this fight. Sure, the UFC would be looking at losing a fighter with a bit of name value to Bellator, but this fight will really determine if Boetsch's better days are behind him, or if a move up in weight is what he needs to succeed. Ed Herman (22€“11 (1)), meanwhile, is a runner up from The Ultimate Fighter 3 who has been fighting at a high level for over a decade, but who is also at a point where his better days are behind him. At 2-3 in his last five, Herman hasn't been seen in action since a January 2015 loss to Derek Brunson. With both fighters moving up in weight, this is a do-or-die fight. Look for Boetsch to take the TKO victory, as he has remained the more active fighter of late, while Herman may be dealing with some ring rust.
