The last player who I think may have a great 2014 is Roberto Soldado, who needs a change in fortunes. If Tottenham manager continues to play an attacking 4-4-2 formation with Emmanuel Adebayor and Soldado upfront then it will only be a matter of time before Soldado starts to score with the frequency he did for Valencia. Soldado struggled in the first half of the season and looked very isolated in AVBs team. Soldado is a box player who thrives off chances in between the width of the goal. He wasnt getting enough service under AVB but that should change now. Soldado proved in La Liga that he is well aware where the goal is. The striker consistently scored goals in Spain and netted 24 league goals last season. The way Tottenham are playing right now will suit him and he should put the problems he suffered on and off the pitch last season behind him.
