Maybe the most unorthodox fighter in the UFC, Roy big country Nelson has broken the boundaries of what it takes to become a MMA performer. Hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada Nelson does not have the greatest record when it comes to wins and losses in the UFC. Big fights with experienced names such as Frank Mir, Junior Dos Santos Fabricio Werdum have come at a price for the season 10 winner of TUF, but a recent knockout of Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira and another 2 knockout victories may have saved his MMA career. At 37-years-of age, Nelson isnt getting any younger and could be facing his last chance later in 2014 with a fight against Mark "Super Samoan" Hunt. A headline fight at UFC Fight Night 52 in Japan could propel the country competitor too bigger things, but for now Nelson must concentrate on continuing his recent form.
