6 Things We Learned From Newcastle U21s v Blackburn

5. Paul Dummett and Mike Williamson Came To Watch

As well as Steve McClaren, a couple of senior players watched with interest as Newcastle grabbed a point against Blackburn Rovers. Mike Williamson stood alongside the Newcastle United dugout while Paul Dummett watched from the stand and both went back into the dressing room with the players post game. It's good to see some of the first-team players giving their support to the Under-21s and they will have both been impressed with new signing Ivan Toney, who made his debut for the club. Williamson posed for photographs and signed autographs as a number of younger fans approached the central-defender during the game.
