6 Ups & 4 Downs From Premier League 2019/20 Week 2

3. Ceballos Lights Up The Emirates

Arsenal have won their opening two Premier League games for the first time since season 2009-2010. Finally, for long-suffering Gunners, there are signs that Unai Emery is picking up the pieces left by Arsène Wenger and making them into something beautiful in his second season. Going forward, at least, Arsenal are mouth-watering.

That speed of thought when attacking would count for nothing if they weren't solid in midfield and defence however. Thankfully for the Gunners, new boy David Luiz had a fine (if typically erratic) debut, and Real Madrid loanee Dani Ceballos looked like the kind of midfield maestro Arsenal fans adore.

Ceballos was energetic, scrapped for every ball, showed superb skill to skip away from Burnley's tough-tackling squad and paved the way for both goals in a 2-1 victory. Most impressively, the way he won the ball back before feeding prolific striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had the crowd purring for more.

Sean Dyche will be disappointed, because he watched his team battle back from 1-0 to deservedly level through Ashley Barnes. Still, his disappointment is Arsenal's delight. They found a way to win three points when one would've been their lot in recent seasons.
