7 Early Indications There Is Going To Be No Stopping Manchester City This Season

6. Goalkeeper Problem Finally Solved?

Last season saw City embarrassed on numerous occasions thanks in part to their goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, who was nothing short of calamitous at times between the sticks.

This summer has seen Pep Guardiola admit defeat in his experiment to get Bravo up to scratch to playing in England, with the former Barcelona manager going out to land Benfica stopper Ederson Moraes.

So far, it looks a shrewd move. The 24-year-old looks assured keeping goal for City, something which an often shaky looking defence needed following last season.

Only two goals conceded so far, as well as coming straight back from a shocking bump taken courtesy of Sadio Mane against Liverpool, suggests Ederson has finally solved City's goalkeeping woes.
