7 MMA Fighters Currently Suing UFC

4. Brandon Vera

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgAX8KXBATo Brandon "The Truth" Vera was at one time poised to do big things in the UFC. He had the goal of becoming a multiple weight class champion. It didn't happen. Vera crashed and burned in the UFC. He fought from 2005 to 2013 in the promotion, a staggering amount of time given his struggles, and the bulk of his career. Despite dropping weight he continued to suffer setbacks then went back to heavyweight where he was finally sent packing by Ben Rothwell. He has since joined ONE FC picking up a much needed win. Vera was making $100,000 a fight in the UFC at one point and his career earnings are listed at over a million dollars, which isn't bad in comparison to many UFC fighters who never make six figures. However, there may be more to Vera's beef than money. In comments to MMA Junkie in November 2014 he stated;
My biggest thing was the respect issue. Not just for me, but for other fighters and all fighters. The stories you hear in the back, the injuries that aren€™t taken care of and just the lack of respect. It€™s nothing I want to dive too much into.
