3. Paris Saint-Germain

If there was a team that everyone was looking forward to seeing this year in Europe it was Paris Saint-Germain.

The addition over the summer of world record signing Neymar and the stunning loan capture of French starlet Kylian Mbappé has sent shockwaves around the world of football.

In week one, on what looked a tricky trip to Celtic, the Parisians backed up their claims as one of Europe's top dogs. Their attacking trio of the aforementioned duo and Uruguayan forward Edinson Cavani ripped Celtic apart in the opening half to put them out of sight before the Bhoys had even settled.

PSG are smashing goals in left, right, and centre in the French league, and five on their opening night of Champions League football is a clear indication they don't plan on slowing down in Europe.

Expect Neymar and co to be in it for the long haul this term as the club's Qatari owners seek success across the board this year.
