The Seahawks got a bit lucky in the NFC Title game because he threw four interceptions in that game. Normally when a QB throws four picks they lose the game, but the Seahawks were able to overcome it thanks to a bit of luck and because Wilson made some big plays in the fourth quarter. If you've seen Wilson's three year career up to this point then you know that he isn't the kind of guy that turns the ball over a lot. it's not like him. He had 20 TDs on the year with only 7 interceptions, so to have four INTs in one game was very uncharacteristic of him. That performance against the Packers was worrisome because he looked completely out of sorts. The bad news for Wilson is that Bill Belichick is one of the smartest defensive coaches in NFL history. He's going to watch what the Packers did and try to come up with a similar game plan to try to force him into mistakes. It's also likely the Patriots will focus on Marshawn Lynch a lot, so they will put the game in Wilson's hands and make him try to beat them. What will be best for Wilson is if he can run the ball himself and put some pressure on the Pats defense to force them to either blitz or sit back and live with him running it. If the Seahawks win, there's a very good chance that Wilson will be the MVP. If they lose, it could very well be his fault too. Expect Wilson to have a great game. That bad performance against the Packers was rare for him. He'll be much more focused and prepared this time around.
