Chelsea raised several eyebrows by bringing in Radamel Falcao on a loan in 2015 despite being well aware of his ill-fated loan stint with Manchester United in the previous season.

The Blues may have been confident in getting the best out of him, or perhaps being generous by giving him another crack at the Premier League, but regardless it turned out to be the same old story.

Falcao was below par once again. He did score in the home loss to Crystal Palace during the initial few weeks of the 2015/16 campaign, but was never able to build on it. Injuries then reared its ugly head once again, piling further misery on Falcao who missed six more months of action.

Upon returning, he appeared for just 14 minutes in the loss to Swansea City before being dropped from the squad for the remainder of that season. He returned to AS Monaco the following season where he rediscovered his best form.

He is now with Turkish side Galatasaray whom he joined last summer.
