When Mohamed Salah was sent away on loan to Fiorentina from Chelsea, Juan Cuadrado walked the opposite direction and he too witnessed very few chances befalling him.

Barely a few weeks into his time at Stamford Bridge, the Colombian was also subject to criticisms for blatant lack of impact whenever on the field, and despite Jose Mourinho's belief that he will be "amazing" in the next campaign, Cuadrado was offloaded to Juventus in the summer.

In those six months, he started only three games in the Premier League and was also a mere footnote in the League Cup final victory over Tottenham Hotspur. His only notable involvement in the proceedings during that time was winning a penalty against Sunderland on the final matchday.

With the Bianconeris though, Cuadrado developed into a key figure. He played to his potential and also had an important role in prolonging Juve's domestic dominion. His versatility allowed him to flourish at various positions, and is now pulling up trees as a full-back.
