8 Footballers Who Could End The Lionel Messi/Cristiano Ronaldo Era Of Dominance
5. Eden Hazard
For a time there were people wondering whether Hazard would not realise his incredible potential, having struggled a little to impose himself at Chelsea in his early days there. He had been tipped to become a world superstar since a very young age, and he is really beginning to show it now. There is arguably not a better player in the Premier League at the moment. The 23-year-old Belgian definitely has the ability to become one of the top two or three players in the world in the coming years, and seems to be getting better and better. He has searing pace, wonderfully quick feet, excellent finishing and is as strong as an ox. On his day he is unplayable, and there aren't many players who are more entertaining to watch. Hazard is the key player in a Chelsea side looking ominously like dominating English football for a few years, and they have every chance of adding to their one Champions League title this season and beyond. Without Hazard they would lose a huge amount, however. Whether the Belgian's long-term future remains at Stamford Bridge is unclear, but he would be sensational for one of Europe's true heavyweight clubs if they snapped him up.
