The recent announcement of Frank Lampard€™s Chelsea departure and subsequently shocking loan signing with Premier League Champions Manchester City has left many Blues fans with something of a sour taste in their mouth. After 12 years the former West Ham man has drawn the curtain on a glittering career with the London side including a Champions League and Europa League winners medal, three Premier League titles, four FA Cups and two League Cups. After over a decade of performing for the Stamford Bridge faithful however, does his temporary move to the blue side of Manchester make him a traitor? Or will Chelsea fans respect him for wanting to compete at the highest level when the club were obviously unwilling to keep him around?
