8 Most Overrated Teams At World Cup 2014

1. Belgium

belgium Of all the 32 teams heading to Brazil to contest this World Cup, there has been more talk surrounding Belgium than any other side. Although Brazil and Spain - as well as the likes of Germany - will be favourites, everyone seems to be predicting Belgium as the team who will surprise everyone - which hardly makes it a surprise anymore. They got a great group draw, facing Algeria, South Korea and Russia in Group H; and you would expect them to top that group with ease. However, only one of their 23-man party heading to Brazil has been involved in a World Cup before, 36-year-old Daniel van Buyten. That lack of tournament experience - Belgium haven't been involved with a World Cup since 2002 - could cost them dear when they face one of the bigger sides, and given how they could face Germany or Portugal in the last 16, their experience could be relatively short-lived in 2014. It was once quoted that you can't win anything with kids, a theory Manchester United emphatically dispelled back in the 1990s. However, this is the World Cup, and without any prior experience of the tournament, Belgium have to be regarded as the most overrated side in the competition.
