Another thing that Allen confirmed was an assertion that John Carver has already made in press conferences previously - he will walk away, even if he is offered the permanent head coach's role, if he is not given money to spend. The squad needs a major overhaul, something Carver has readily admitted, and he wants the money to be able to bring in the players he thinks can take the team forward. Is this just an empty promise though?
