Current Club: Real Madrid After the big money acquisition of Columbian goal machine James Rodriguez, Real Madrid's striking slots are significantly more full than they were last year, and it's highly unlikely the Spaniards are going to let their newest galactico to sit on the bench and wait for Karim Benzema to gracefully step aside from first team duties to accommodate him. So it would seem that something has to give for the Frenchman. Or at least, that's what you might have suspected up until last week, when the Frenchman signed a new contract at Madrid, seemingly putting an end to the Spanish side's protracted pursuit of Radamel Falcao, who had been thought to be on the verge of a move to rejoin his compatriot Rodriguez. Benzema seems permanently sit at the top of Arsenal's shopping list, because he is French and his all-action approach would suit the Premier League, but it looks unlikely that this is going to be the case just yet, unless Benzema realises he's going to spend too much time on the bench and has a chance of heart late in the window. Will He Sign? Not yet. But if Real Madrid don't give him the first team opportunities he deserves, it's likely to come back up soon.
