Arsenal: 10 Best Premier League Era Players (Who Appeared Less Than 100 Times)

6. John Hartson

Wales frontman Hartson is a hero to all Celtic supporters, but long before he moved to Scotland he spent two years on Arsenal's books between 1995 and 1997. He played and scored in that losing effort in the 1995 Cup Winners' Cup final. Hartson netted 14 goals in 54 Premier League games for the Gunners and it was during his stint at Highbury that he first received international recognition. He went on represent Wales 51 times, scoring 14 times. Arsenal made a profit on the teenager they signed from Luton Town when West Ham came in for Hartson in early 1997. He would also played for Wimbledon, Coventry, West Bromwich Albion and Norwich.
