Arsenal: 15 Candidates To Replace Arsene Wenger - From Least To Most Likely
5. Thomas Tuchel
Given the unenviable task of replacing the world's most charismatic manager in Jurgen Klopp in 2015, Tuchel did a sterling job in guiding Borussia Dortmund to second spot in the Bundesliga and runners-up in the German Cup, both times to, guess who, Bayern Munich, in addition to reaching the Europa League quarter-finals. Moreover, the parallels between himself and Klopp started back in 2009 when Tuchel cut his managerial teeth at Mainz 05, a period which can be called a notable success.
Unfortunately for the German, the wheels have slightly come off during this current campaign, with Tuchel under growing pressure to reverse the inconsistencies that have plagued his young side; they are miles behind Bayern in the league and will need to overturn a 1-0 deficit against Benfica if they want to progress further in the Champions League.
Nevertheless, and with the now-custom knee-jerk reaction in football in mind, this doesn't make him a bad manager overnight.
