Arsenal: 5 Reasons Why They Will Still Finish In Top 4

5. Out Of All Other Competitions

efe Whilst this could be seen as a vastly negative development by many Arsenal cynics and fans alike seeing as 7 years have befallen without a trophy for the Gunners, however every cloud has a silver lining and its not like Wenger to look on occurrences pessimistically. The fact that Arsenal will most likely be out of all competitions as the season draws to a conclusion, means that they can focus heavily on attaining that prestigious 4th spot place. So perhaps their incompetence against the likes of lower league Bradford and Blackburn will transpire in being a blessing in disguise for the Gunners. Wenger won't have to fret about resting his first teamers in the Premier League for a mid week F.A Cup or Champions League fixture. The same circumstances can't be said for Tottenham, who still have to worry about their insignificant Europa League campaign, a tournament I'm sure they wish they could eliminate themselves from, in order to concentrate fully on Champions League football next year. So Arsenal's vacant fixture list could culminate in a more long term success for the Gunners despite the fact that their trophy drought has been prolonged for another year.
