Arsenal Make Barcelona Superstar Their Top Transfer Target

Arsenal have put Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets top of their transfer list, according to Spanish media publication, Sport. Arsene Wenger is hoping to add the expert midfielder to the Gunners' midfield and turn his side in serious title contenders again. Sport reports that Arsenal are in a position to sign the three-time Champions League winner but they are unsure of the players likelihood of leaving the Spanish champions. Busquets signed a brand new contract with the club earlier this year which keeps him at the Nou Camp until 2019. The World Cup winner would certainly give Arsenal's midfield further protection and the signing would ease the pressure on 24-year-old Francis Coquelin.
