Having rumbled on for weeks now, it looks as if Kieran Tierney is finally going to become an Arsenal player.

According to The Scottish Sun, Arsenal and Celtic have agreed a fee of £25 million for the left-back – who is now on this way to London to agree personal terms and have a medical ahead of the transfer window slamming shut at 5pm tomorrow.

The outlet adds that Tierney and his agent Allan Preston were earlier spotted at Edinburgh Airport awaiting a flight to London.

Scottish international Tierney has been with Celtic since he was seven years of age, with the 22-year-old now seemingly bringing a close to his 15 years at the Glasgow giants.

It’s expected that the player will sign a five-year deal worth £75,000 per week at The Emirates.

Should everything go smoothly with this deal, Tierney will see himself competing with Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac for the Arsenal left-back spot.

That said, Kolasinac has been used in a more advanced position at times, while Monreal found himself playing at centre-back last season – not to mention both of those players have had their fair share of injury problems.

Kieran Tierney will be manager Unai Emery’s fifth signing of the summer – joining Nicolas Pepe, William Saliba, Gabriel Martinelli and loan signing Dani Ceballos in moving to The Gunners.
