8. Mario Gotze
This slide is perhaps the most hopeful of all, but I am left drooling at the mouth at the prospect of Mario Gotze wearing an Arsenal kit in the future. Considered by many as one of the future stars of world football, the German is hugely creative, with tremendous vision and skill, and is a proven goalscorer. At only 20 years old he has already made 93 appearances for Borussia Dortmund and has won the Bundesliga twice, which is more than most Arsenal players are able to boast that are a decade older than Gotze. He will eventually develop into one of the best in the world, so much so that any of the top teams that want to sign him would already have to stump up cash over the £30,000,000 mark. It's not exactly a comfortable sum of money for Wenger to spend, especially with Santi Carzola performing well at the moment. But that money is an investment for a burgeoning superstar, and in a few years he'll be worth a great deal more.
