6. Nolito (Celta Vigo)
Rumours persist that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
may be targeted by Chelsea in the January transfer window. Unless Arsene Wenger is sick of the Englishman's faltering form and injury woes, there doesn't seem to be much logic in the deal. At this point, Wenger likely needs all the reinforcements he can get. This is why Nolito would be a smart buy. Arsenal should be very interested in signing the Celta Vigo winger. Width is something the side are probably eager to secure, buying players who can cross the ball in for a tall forward such as Olivier Giroud. It's a tactic Wenger could employ, ideally at the Emirates against other sides that are stubborn in defence. Unfortunately for the Arsenal gaffer, it looks like Barcelona just might beat him to the punch with the Spaniard.
Recent reports claim that Nolito might be bound for the Camp Nou later this week, but Arsenal should make a last-ditch attempt to sign him quickly. The appeal of winning the Premier League must be huge for most players, even in Spain. Nolito has scored 35 goals from wide positions for Celta Vigo, which is not to be sniffed at. Compare that to Theo Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain's lack of scoring recently, and it becomes vital.
