Arsenal Transfers: 10 Worst Arsene Wenger Signings Ever

Arsene doesn't always know best.

As the man who brought in some of the greatest players the Premier League has ever seen, including Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira and Robert Pires, it makes sense that fans consider Arsene Wenger as some sort of transfer clairvoyant who never puts a foot wrong in the market.

Sadly for Arsenal fans, however, that's far from the case. In fact, Mr Wenger has had more than his fair share of failings in the market during his trophy-laden career at the hub of the North London giants. After all, for every Henry there's a stark reminder of Francis Jeffers that sends a shiver down the spine of many fans every time someone mentions foxes. Or boxes.

The 65-year-old Frenchman has now been at Arsenal manager for a staggering 19 years and while he's built a reputation as one of the best transfer market manipulators in the history of the league - buying low and selling high, and unearthing some serious gems - that risky strategy has led to some head-scratchingly terrible players.

The question is, which of Le Professeur's flops has been the most disappointing of them all?
