Now that Arsene Wenger has missed out on one Spanish international in Fernando Llorente, he may now turn his attentions to Atlético Madrid's Adrián López. According to reports, Arsenal opened formal discussions with Atlético over the possible signing of the 25-year old forward, who is valued at £15 million. López was in fine form for the La Liga outfit last season, bagging nineteen goals, though he has been outshone by the sensational form of Radamel Falcao this term. It is understood Arsenal have kept tabs on López for much of the season with Arsene Wenger a keen admirer, and at just £15 million, his signature is one that would not be beyond the realms of possibility.
