5. Iker Casillas
Iker Casillas could spark a scramble for his services in the New Year after the goalkeeper
hinted that he could quit Real Madrid in January. The Spain international hasn't made a single La Liga appearance all season, with Diego Lopez preferred under Carlo Ancelotti, and has been used solely in the Champions League and cup competitions by the Spanish giants. Still considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world, it is unthinkable that he isn't getting in the Madrid team, and it looks increasingly likely that he could move on if he feels unwanted this winter. Wojciech Szczsny has been much improved this season and appears to have put the problems he endured last term behind him after making a few costly errors
before being dropped and losing his place to Lukasz Fabianski. But with Arsenal looking as though they are capable of competing in the latter stages of most tournaments this season, a bit of depth in goal wouldn't go amiss, particularly if Szczsny suffered another dip in form. If Madrid don't want Casillas, Wenger should make another swoop on the Bernabeu club this January having already taken Mesut Ozil away from the Spanish capital.
