Another striker who has been scoring for fun recently is Saint-tienne's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Arsene Wenger likes his players to be French and the 23-year old passes that test at least. He has also outscored Stevan Jovetic in each of the last two seasons, bagging 18 and then 20 this campaign to the Montenegrin's 14 and 12 this term. The Gunners
have been linked with a move for the £13 million-rated youngster, as have Tottenham and Newcastle, the latter of which have already seen a £10 million bid knocked back by the French outfit. Aubemeyang caused a bit of a stir in December when he was pictured wearing Swarovski crystal-encrusted football boots worth around £2,500. It would seem the striker has more silverware adorning his feet than Arsenal have had sitting in their trophy cabinet in recent times - if they sign him instead of Jovetic, that could soon change.
