Gareth Bale has been Tottenhams star man for some time now, his blistering pace, physical strength and exquisite final ball have bailed Spurs out countless times when lacking inspiration. The Arsenal man tasked with keeping the Welsh flyer in check is Bacary Sagna, one of the best fullbacks in the league with years experience, the perfect man for the job- in theory that is. Bale is on fire this season; hes scored thrice in the league, notched assists and been a constant menace for opposing teams. On his day he is unplayable, and not even the classiest right back in the league will be able stop him if he brings his A game to the derby.
Verdict: Sagna is undoubtedly a top player, but faced with one of the top players in the league, and a physical specimen like Bale after his return from a leg break might prove too much for the Arsenal man.
